Occasionally, we are asked to work with insurance companies when our customers have purchased Extended Warranty or Mechanical Repair Insurance policies. Like most businesses, insurance companies and their policies vary greatly and your satisfaction with the policy you purchased depends on many factors.
Insurance companies usually share in the decision making process when repairs are performed on your vehicle. Although your policy should cover most of our recommended repairs, it may not cover all charges we feel are necessary in order to properly repair your vehicle. While some will pay our estimated charges, others will try to get us to lower our estimate by recommending we install used parts, or ask us to reduce our charges for parts and/or labor. These companies and their policies may not meet our standards for safety, quality, completion, or pricing and may affect the speed in which your vehicle is repaired.
As a customer of Russ Moore Transmission Specialist we are committed to providing you the best possible service. However, in certain warranty & insurance company cases, you may be required to contact the insurance company directly and file the claim. We will always work with you to help file any necessary paper work and will work diligently to perform the repairs we know are appropriate for your vehicles mechanical failure. By following these steps you can assured your vehicle is returned to you as quickly as possible.
Payment is required in full, upon completion of our repairs and we will forward any necessary paperwork so you can receive reimbursement from your insurance company. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal (in State) check, Visa, Master Card and Discover.
If you have any questions about our policy, we will be happy to discuss it with you by contacting us on (800) 545-9658. (Click here for more contact information)
